It is vital that all parents inform their teachers in relation to any medication that their child is taking in school. The school generally advocates the self-administration of medicines (eg. inhalers) under the supervision of a responsible adult.  Please consult our Administration of medicines policy, available on our website www.scoilcholmcille.ie

A reminder that it is important that children are on time each morning.   Please note that any child not in school by 10.30am has to be marked absent, irrespective of any notes to teacher stating that they will be in afterwards. This is due to our new electronic roll books.

We invite all parents to photograph your child reading a book in an unusual place and email their photo to scoilcholmcillewbd@gmail.com. Patsy Cavanagh will put on a performance/workshop this year for the school on Tuesday 27th of February in the GP hall. Last year the children really enjoyed his depiction of the battle of Clontarf with Brian Boru and the Vikings. In order to cover the cost of the performance/workshop we ask for a €1.50 contribution from all children.
