Welcome back to what will be a busy half term in the run up to Christmas. This year the 3rd and 4th class and 5th and 6th class will be taking part in the Christmas plays. The 3rd and 4th class performance will take place on Tuesday 11th of December and 5th and 6th class will perform on Thursday 13th of December. Both performances will take place at 1pm.
Please ensure that all contact details are up to date. If you have changed mobile number or your emergency contact details/arrangements change, please let Caroline know in the office. Up to date contact details are vital in case of emergencies.

Well done to everyone who braved the weather and came out to support our annual 5K run/walk. Everyone had a great time even though we all got absolutely soaked!!! Thanks again to our amazing Parents association for organizing such a wonderful event.
3rd and 4th class have been researching our local community in History. We have researched the local castle on our i pads and discovered many interesting facts! We took an afternoon out to explore the castle itself.

Welcome back to everyone for what is expected to be a very busy new school year. A special welcome to our 18 new Junior Infants who have settled in so well and are getting on so well with Mrs Kealey.
I would also like to give a warm welcome to Sinéad Havlin who has kindly offered to volunteer in the school. I’m sure both the children and teachers will keep Sinéad busy and we look forward to getting to know Sinéad better.
A note for your diary. Mid-term break begins Monday 29th of October. The school will close for midterm at 3pm on Friday 26th of October and re-open on Monday 5th November. Due to the upcoming referendum we may be closed for midterm on Thursday 25th October @ 3pm.
