Confirmation will take place in Moville on Tuesday 26th of March at 5pm in St Pius X Church.    

Cycling for our Junior and Senior infants continues on Friday mornings. Well done to all children for taking part.

As St. Patrick’s day falls on a Sunday this year the school will closed on Monday 18th as it is a bank holiday. The Easter holidays run from Monday 15th of April to Friday 26th of April. School reopens on Monday 29th of April.

Well done to all children in 5th and 6th class who are now completing their swimming block this week.  They have all made great progress and enjoyed every single moment of it. Please note 2nd class commence their 5 week block on Wednesday 13th of March. Please return money and permission slips to school by Friday 8th March. 

The girls soccer team are currently taking part in the Inishowen 6-a-side league. They have been doing the school proud and current;y have three wins from three games.
It is vital that all parents inform their teachers in relation to any medication that their child 

is taking in school. The school generally advocates the self-administration of medicines (eg. inhalers) under the supervision of a responsible adult.  Please consult our Administration of medicines policy, available on our website  


A reminder that it is important that children are on time each morning.   Please note that any child not in school by 10.30am has to be marked absent, irrespective of any notes to teacher stating that they will be in afterwards. This is due to our new electronic roll books.

As part of Seachtain na Gaeilge next week there are a number of activities taking place. Rang a 5 agus a 6 will be attending a tráth na gceist at Gaelscoil Cois Feabhail on Tuesday 12th. Meanwhile there will be a Ceolchoirm on Thursday 14th. On Friday 15th we have our Lá Glas. All children will be asked to dress in green and the children will partake in a Céilí Mor in the school yard. 

World Book Day 2019 will take place on Thursday 7th of March. All children are encouraged to take part by dressing up as their favourite book character or alternatively by coming to school in their pyjamas with their favourite book under their arm. A reminder too of our World book day photograph competition. All children are invited to have a photograph taken of them reading in an unusual place. Photographs can be emailed to All entrants will be entered into a draw for a £10 Easons book voucher.
